No Tet in Iraq

From Austin Bay's blog:

The last hope al-Qaeda had was a sectarian civil war in Iraq that would create an effect similar to the 1968 Tet Offensive in the media. In 1968, the media was able to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. This time, despite the mainstream media’s near-hysteical coverage, such a phenomenon is much less likely. That means the United States is very likely to claim an eventual victory in Iraq.

Its too bad we have to resist our own people as well as the terrorist, but whatever it takes.
