Alaskans Nix Chavez Oil

I saw this story on TV and was mighty proud of these Americans. Story from NewsMax:

Americans have opened their wallets and come to the aid of Alaskan villagers who spurned an offer of free heating oil from Bush-bashing Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez...In rejecting the offer, Nelson Lagoon tribal council administrator Justine Gunderson said: "As a citizen of this country, you can have your own opinion of our president and our country. But I don’t want a foreigner coming in here and bashing us. Even though we’re in economically dire straits, it was the right choice to make.”

Harlem take notice.
