A Call for Harry Reid to Resign
Over his recent "The war is lost" comment. This from Investor's Business Daily:Reid has instead given moral support to the terrorists. His
"leadership" has been to try to cut off our forces' war funding. Now he has told
the Islamofascists that victory is theirs if they can just keep blowing up U.S.
soldiers and Iraqi citizens a little while longer.
In aiding and comforting
the enemy in wartime, Reid has betrayed the office he holds, shamed the Nevadans
he represents and made the Democratic Party he leads synonymous with surrender.
There is one way he can repair the damage he's done to the nation: step down.
This is justified, because such statements in times past by the antiwar Left have clearly kept this war going as long as it has, by giving the enemy hope we may pullout. Reid's high position in the US government also dictates he set an example, and not let his personal feelings get in the way of his duty to the country, or cause any of its citizens harm, namely our brave and brilliant troops currently in harms way overseas.
Support the troops, Sen. Reid, not only with body armor and bullets, but with your confidence in their abilities as well.
