Ask any scientist on the possibility that recent adverse weather condition, plus volcanoes, and earthquakes, may be signs that we are living in the Last Days mentioned in the Bible. He will likely smile knowingly at your naivete, shake his head and declare such things have been going on forever. Just because we have bad weather is no sign that "the Day of the Lord" is nigh, you will be assured.

Ask the same scientist about the prospects of man-made Global Warming, and he will instantly transform into an Old Testament Prophet with quotes like THE END OF THE WORLD, and WE HAVEN'T MUCH TIME LEFT, or WE MUST CHANGE OUR WAYS NOW!!!
