Vulcan to Fly Again

Cold War and Falklands conflict vintage British bomber will fly again thanks some interested restorers:
A multi-millionaire has saved a project to make a Vulcan bomber airborne again by pledging £500,000. Sir Jack Hayward, 83, the owner of Wolverhampton Wanderers football club, said he wanted one of the finest examples of aeronautical engineering back in the skies...The delta-winged giant will now lead the fly-past over the Mall next year to mark the 25th anniversary of the Falklands conflict. In April 1982, a Vulcan flew the then longest bombing mission, 4,000 miles from Ascension Island, to attack Stanley airfield.
