The Right's Best Week

Who says conservatism in in the doldrums? Chuck Muth details our winning week:

  • The victory over the Bush/Kennedy “No Illegal Alien Left
    Behind” bill.

  • The introduction of an amendment last week in Congress to
prohibit the FCC from using taxpayer dollars to reinstate the Fairness Doctrine,
    that passed overwhelmingly!

  • The Senate shot down the crown jewel of Big
Labor's legislative agenda this year, “card check.”

  • The United States Supreme Court last week ruled against the use
of racial preferences by public schools.

  • For details of each of these victories for the Right, check out the article. One triumph for the war effort not mentioned, especially after last months attack on Britain, is U.S. Appeals Court Orders Surveillance Case Dismissed.
