Whither, Don Surber?

I linked to a Don Surber's article last week, detailing how Bush's approval rating is over twice as high as the Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid Congress. I wrote:

Whither goes Democracy is we can't govern?

I was a little hesitant using that "whither", thinking the term dated, but then I read this by Don Surber in the Charleston Daily Mail:

In driving down the public's confidence in the federal government,
Democrats are counting on apathy... But what if it doesn't? What if the public
sees this cynicism for what it is? Whither the
democracy?

Coincidence? Maybe, but its good we are having an effect. We may not have many readers here at New Wars, but I must say you guys are QUALITY!
