Jim DeMint Vs. MoveOn

The SC Senator was guest-blogging at Powerline:

Still, we know Petraeus’ message will be resisted and maligned
by many who believe that the goals in Iraq are wrong and that the mission has
failed. Some, like the liberal MoveOn.org, have even gone so far as to question
Petraeus’ integrity.
In their now notorious New York Times advertisement the
cash cow of the liberal base accused the four-star general of “cooking the
books” and “betraying” our nation. This slander of epic proportion was cheered
by a liberal base who root for failure in Iraq because they want political
victory at the ballot box.
What the liberal lose-at-all-costs caucus failed
to take into account was the will of the American people to win. While MoveOn
was busy painting a great patriot as a modern day Benedict Arnold, the American
people were listening intently as the general delivered his level-headed report
from the battlefield.

The result? Victory: 1. MoveOn: 0.
Here! Here! What a great set of Senator's we have here in South Carolina, including Lindsey Graham. The latter I completely disagree with on illegal immigration, but concerning the all important issue of the War on Terror, Lindsey is tops in my book!
