Why the Left Wants the Fairness Act

It's not about fairness, but ratings! The figures are via Dirty Harry's Place:

Total day: FNC: 205 | CNN: 169 | MSNBC: 110 | HLN: 90
Prime: FNC: 382 | CNN: 179 | MSNBC: 183 | HLN: 134

These numbers are in the thousands, so at any given time MSNBC is only averaging 110,000 people in that age range. Look at total viewers in every age range:

The Fairness Act is much like Affirmative Action for broadcasters. If you can't make it on your own, the government lends a hand. Maybe if the Left-dominated Media wasn't always so negative...
